Welcome to SISTAGRO!

SISTAGRO is a new consultancy project aiming to contribute to agricultural innovation and business development through the use of advanced analytics and 'state of the art' agronomy.

We are independent consultants with solid experience in field agronomy and digital tools, mostly located in Córdoba, Spain, but working both locally and internationally. 

Our experiences are diverse as we have been dealing with different cropping systems: olives, vines, nut trees, as well as cereals and horticultural crops. SISTAGRO reaches diverse farm types located in southern Spain and Portugal, and we participate in international projects, too. 

The core of our business is the development of business solutions based on GIS technology, semi-automated digital farming tools, tailor-made analytics and agronomic modelling. From our current services portfolio, we would highlight the potential value of our services for companies with widely diversified production activities (e.g., industry, agriculture, forestry, range management and rural tourism), distributed across numerous geographic areas, dealing with complex networks of providers and markets, and seeking to optimize returns on investments by an accurate control of costs and revenues. Under current production costs and bureaucratic pressure, European agriculture will inevitably keep to scale up in order to survive. The challenges ahead to be faced are enormous but new edge systems' approaches have been evolving which will guide essential transitions for farmers!!
